The first one is on December 10th at Boondocks and its gonna be badass!!!! We're all about making it just as fun as possible. Not just strictly electro anymore, we're playing it all!! PLAYBOY Land Yacht by SYD MEAD

So friends of mine will know that I am a huuuuge Syd Mead fan. Probably THE most badass futurist and an industrial design icon. Designing concepts for such movies as Bladerunner and Tron, he's pretty much every product designer's idol. Well mine at least. Anyway, as I was looking through some vintage Playboy magazines the other day, I came across a rare gem. A Syd Mead concept done for the June 1975 issue featuring the Land Yacht. Well I thought I would share it, since Syd Mead work is hard to come by, even in digital form. This concept embodies some pretty heavy-hitting concepts. Sex, speed and the nomadic lifestyle. Official Peaches/MEN Afterparty 11.02.09

Last night Angie Audio opened up at Chances with Damon Allen and Grrrl Parts for JD Samson of Le Tigre and MEN fame. Its certainly tough to fill a club on a Monday night after Halloween weekend, but when JD announced the afterparty at the show, the crowd went wild, and they came out in full force to see her throw down a wicked dance party. Peaches made an appearance, and JD played a killer set that had the people dancing even after they stopped serving drinks. Check the pics, and support JD and MEN!!
